Kimber Bishop Yanke, founder of Girls Empowered and Boys Empowered coaches parents, students and school districts…… I brought Kimber to Indianapolis November 17. It was a special workshop for parents and school administrators on the topic of bullying and how to protect your children:
‘Bully-Proof Me’
1. Establishing a common understanding of the following: Teasing, relational aggression, bullying, mean-kid behavior
2. How to help our children develop the skills they need (self confidence, self esteem, positive reinforcement) so they don’t become bullying victims and helping them understand the importance of speaking up
3. showing parents and schools how to create a culture where every child feels welcome
4. what to do in a bullying situation if you are a parent and you need to communicate and work with your child’s school and get results!
